MovingWorks celebrates 15 years
North West property marketing company MovingWorks celebrated its 15th birthday with a drinks reception at its Little Hoole head offices.
Founded in 2000 by businesswoman Georgina Cox, MovingWorks has developed to become a leading estate and letting agent with a great reputation for personalised service, whilst harnessing the power of the internet to assist home buyers and sellers, landlords and tenants find the right properties.
Said Georgina: “A big talking point in our industry at the moment is the emergence of ‘hybrid’ agencies, which offer both web-based and office based property marketing, but this has been the cornerstone of our service since we began.
“We’ve has seen many changes over the years, including some serious blips in the market, but we’ve been able to adapt to those changes and remain at the forefront of property marketing in the area. I believe our greatest strength is our customer service. Moving home remains one of the most important – and potentially the most stressful – of life experiences and our aim is to ensure that we make that experience as smooth and pain free as possible.”
Ensuring she has the right team around her has always been a priority for Georgina, who credits her success to re-creating her strong family values in business. And those values are set to continue long into the future as Georgina’s son, Mark Worrall, has taken on the role of Sales Director, having worked in the business from a young age.
Said Mark: “After working in the financial services sector for a number of years I became increasingly interested in what Mum has created with MovingWorks and when the opportunity arose I decided to get involved. It’s a competitive marketplace out there, but we believe we have the leading edge due to our local knowledge and expertise. Here’s to the next 15 years!”
